Update 8/2/2017: Now that The Lost Princess has been released, I’m going to leave three of these chapters up as an excerpt. As of right now, the text has not been updated to reflect the final version. That will change by the end of the week.
This is the new version of The Castle in the Story (now titled The Lost Princess). Although what you read here might stay, unchanged, in the final version, this is currently a work-in-progress. That means that not only may changes happen, but entire scenes may end up being deleted when I finally publish this. (I hope not. That’s a big reason why I’m doing what I’m currently doing.) Also, this is rewritten draft. I have yet to get it copyedited or proofed, so there will be mistakes in here of various sorts. If you like and have the time, I would appreciate it if you pointed those issues out in the comments for each chapter.
