If you want to go straight to the story, the link is at the bottom of this post. If you want to find out a little more about this collection of flash fiction I’m publishing, read on!
All these stories are a result of Holly Lisle’s course, How to Write Flash Fiction That Doesn’t Suck. I took the course because I always get a lot out of her courses and because I needed a way to write that didn’t take up much time but still left me with a complete story. I made a goal of trying to finish one story a week. I didn’t always make it, but the fact that I have just enough for a collection now made it worth the effort.
As a result of trying to write tiny, I found out that my flash fiction tends to get a little sillier, a little more willing to experiment. Not always (as you’ll see in my next post) but more often than I expected. Today’s flash fiction is a good example of that. In fact, I think this is the strangest bit of flash fiction I’ve ever written. I hope you enjoy it. As always, please leave a comment and let me know what you think! Thank you.
