Pinterest; problem solved; my lack of tweeting

This is going to be a quick post because I’m very tired and need to sleep.

First, in line with my decision to have fun with social media instead of trying to do marketing with it, I’ve joined Pinterest. I only have two boards up so far, but there’ll be more in the future, and not all of them are going to be related to my stories. I swear it!

No editing today, but mostly because I realized a plot problem I’d put off when I was writing the rough draft needed to be resolved NOW. The entire series couldn’t move forward until all those little plot threads were explained. For me. The actual reveal of the solution won’t happen in this book, maybe not even the next, though I intend to reveal more as the series progresses.

But I had to know now because if I didn’t, the scene wouldn’t fit in with what was to come. It took all afternoon to sort it out until I was satisfied with how everything came together, and then I had to take care of the family. But I’m happy. Tomorrow, I can get back to work. 🙂

And no, I’m never again moving forward in a rough draft until I have ev-er-y-thing explained to my satisfaction.

Finally, I think I’m going to give up on my Twitter account. It’s turned into that boyfriend that you keep hoping you’ll end up liking more than you do if you just keep trying but you know in your heart it will never work. I have to let go. Not sure how to do it, though. Do I just stop? Or do I tweet this post?

Oh, well. Another thing to put off until tomorrow.

BTW, for those who are reading The Lord’s Tale (part one) on Wattpad, I’m extending the time it’ll be up in full until the 28th of February. I’ll update that tomorrow as well.

Thoughts?
