You know how I said once that I can get wrapped up in my own little world? Well, I hadn’t heard that David Farland’s son had been involved in a severe accident until this week. And this accident occurred months ago.
This doesn’t mean that the effects aren’t still being felt by the family. Their medical bills are over $1 million now, and they have no insurance. And (for those who think it’s an option) they can’t declare bankruptcy. (Kris Rusch does a better job explaining the situation than me, so please read her post on the subject.)
