First, thank you to everyone who downloaded a copy of The Baker’s Wife, part one! This concludes part one’s KDP Select promotional run. Part two will be free July 16th and 17th.
I’m starting to wonder if I shouldn’t just rename part two and three and keep them all as distinct short novels. It’s my first time organizing a serial and, even though part two had a fairly strong arc, it still carried over a lot of stuff to part three. Plus, the full novel is going to be HUGE, word-count-wise.
Well, either way, for those who’ve finished part two and want to get a glimpse of what might possibly happen, I’ve put the first scene of part three’s rough draft on Wattpad. I haven’t revised, edited, or otherwise done anything to it to clean it up. However, I doubt I’ll change the basics of the story, so please give it a read and tell me what you think. (Note: please be honest in your thoughts and feelings regarding this story. Though I may not change anything, I’ll definitely be keeping your comments in mind when it’s time to edit. If you don’t feel comfortable leaving a comment on Wattpad, feel free to contact me through this blog using the form.)

(Oh, and about the cover…I haven’t found the right image for the center yet. That’s why there’s only a big, green circle where the image should be. But I thought I should at least put something approximating the final cover up so that people would know it’s part of the same book. And I chose a circle for reasons which kinda, sorta show up in that first scene.)
