Okay. So. I’ve been working really hard on this, trying to create a cover that looks more professional and is closer to capturing the feel of the story. What do you think?
It’s okay if you hate it or think the other cover is just fine. I’ve already had one person tell me they think the previous cover looks great so why am I changing it? Because I know I can do better, and I think this cover is better. But then, I could be delusional. Am I? Please let me know.

I would do a different background color. The silver sword on a grey background is a bit too monochromatic. That sword and the cool mist around it needs to pop more.

Thank you for your input! Yeah, after looking at it a bit (and asking a few more people) I agree about the sword and background. I’m trying to find a solution that works but so far I’m not liking any of the background changes I’ve made. I’ll work on it again tonight, and post some alternatives tomorrow.
