The structural edits are pretty much done. I fixed all the really awful errors as best I could. Now, it’s time for beta-readers to test kick the structure before I send it to a copy-editor for polishing.
If any of you out there would like to be a beta reader, please let me know. I would love it if whoever volunteers enjoys fantasy with a strong romance in it, because that’s essentially what this is. However, anyone who loves to read and analyze what they’ve just read are welcome to send in their comments as well.
Now, for the specs. (I’m still working on this one sentence description, so feel free to comment on it as well if you like.) The novel itself is 102,000 words long. I’m still not entirely sure of the genre (romance or fantasy). Here’s the one sentence sum-up:
A disillusioned dragon Observer, shaken by a terrifying battle with a vengeful member of his own kind must struggle against that same enemy when a searching human with crusader tendencies shows him there might be something worth fighting for.
