It’s gorgeous right now. It’s the kind of weather that makes me glad I’m alive. The peach tree in our backyard is in bloom, the bees are starting to buzz around flowers that seemed to have appeared overnight. No wonder so many believe in magic. How could you not when spring exists?
Too bad it’ll only last a couple of weeks. After that, the Texas sun will start to burn the ground until by late July the grass that hasn’t been watered will be a patchwork of green and yellow. Mostly yellow.
This bit of good weather makes me want to do stuff, like try not to kill the henbit I caught. Or start the sequel to my previously mentioned novel (started it!).
