Setting a Creative Speed Limit

I really enjoyed this post on Caffeine for the Creative Soul.  It’s about how speed doesn’t dictate creativity.  You don’t have to blaze through a piece of art in order to be spontaneous.

Personally, I’ve found speed can actually hinder the process:  ideas don’t have time to fully form when you rush things.  Like this post.  See how thin it is?  Just me quoting someone else with hardly anything else to say.  Nothing rich, nothing deep, nothing more for you to do than visit the link.  So, please read the linked post.  It’s good.

And it’s got a pretty flower, too.
