living on a dime’s preparedness tips

We also live somewhere in tornado alley.  The worst of the tornado season has passed (I think) but it’s always good to be prepared for next time.  This is one of the better posts I’ve read on the subject of preparedness.  I especially love the first tip:  get to know your neighbors.  In fact, I would say, if you do nothing else to get prepared, at least know who your neighbors are.  You’d be surprised what might come out of those friendships.
