radical homemakers and keeping up routines

I just picked up a couple of holds from the library. One of these is the book Radical Homemakers: Reclaiming Domesticity from a Consumer Culture by Shannon Hayes. It’s been a while since I’ve seen feminism and homemaking tied together in a positive way. It looks intriguing. If it turns out to be worth the time, I may write a review of it.

In the meantime, I’m working on balance for the rest of the week. I’ve got my morning routine going (somewhat), and my morning planned out. I hope to write this afternoon and maybe even get a couple of queries out. If I keep up with my routines and make sure I write inside small contained boxes of time through the day, I think I might avoid the misery that happens when my life is unbalanced in either direction. We’ll see.

Wish me luck!
